Meet The Team

Dr. Fauzia Sajjad

Dr Fauzia Sajjad is proud to be serving the bow valley community since 2013. She is a University of Alberta Graduate and member of Alberta Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association.

Her passion for providing excellent oral health care has been her motivation to enhance her skills by continuing education. She prides herself to be able to offer all general dentistry services. She is delighted that both Banff dentistry and Canmore Dentistry teams are a part of her family now and will be managed by her and her husband Dr. Shakil Amin . Her spare time is spent with her son Kaiser and enjoying the natural beauty of this beautiful town.

Dr. Brian Piercy

Dr. Brian Piercy has been filling cavities, polishing pearly whites, and reminding his patients to brush for over 28 years. Piercy, a native of Winnipeg attended Westwood Collegiate and then received his professional training at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry.

On July 13, 2007 Dr. Piercy sold his dental practice and moved to Alberta with his wife Ann and two teenagers, Duncan and Isla. Not quite ready to hang up the “old mirror and explorer”, Dr. Piercy has been practicing part time with Dr. Moldenhauer for the last past 11 years here in Canmore. He is well versed in all aspects of dentistry.

An avid outdoorsman and keen father, he has been actively involved in his children’s extra-curricular activities.

Dr. Arden Young

Dr. Young grew up in Edmonton, AB, where her grandpa was her first (and favourite) dentist. She graduated from University of Alberta Dentistry in 2010, before moving to Vancouver for a year of General Practice Residency, working in the Vancouver hospitals and abroad. After a few years of private practice in Vancouver, Dr. Young decided it was time to come home to Alberta, and made the move to Calgary. While working for the past 9 years in Calgary, nearly every weekend was spent driving out to the mountains. She is so excited to make a dream become reality, and now get to live and work where she plays, in Canmore and Banff.

Dr Young enjoys family and paediatric dentistry, and aims to make her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She is passionate about continued learning, and has tailored much of her continuing education towards the art of root canal treatment.

Time in the mountains is time well spent, and Dr Young spends a lot of her spare time trail running around the Bow Valley. When she isn’t running (which isn’t THAT often), she might be found reading, skiing, cycling, or spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Toni Jett Trottier

Originally from small town Sundre, Alberta, Dr TJ Trottier is thrilled to be back in the Canadian Rockies after nearly 9 years living in Australia. Dr TJ moved to Australia in 2015 where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, received with Distinction.

After graduation, Dr TJ worked at a private practice in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, where she enjoyed serving the close-knit community. Her main philosophies in providing excellent dental care involve honest communication, patient education, and high attention to detail.

Dr TJ enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and loves the variety each day brings. Although she has a particular interest in implant dentistry and cosmetic cases. Dr TJ also enjoys making the dentist a fun and positive environment for the little ones!

Swapping out the surfboard for a pair of skis, Dr TJ is keen to make the most of living in the Rockies. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Dr TJ on a trail run or bike ride with her dog or hitting the slopes. She is an avid mountain biker, runner, and hiker. Most recently completing a 4,300km thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail!

Dr. Brayden Fracchia

Hailing from tropical Queensland Australia, Brayden completed his studies in Cairns as well as completing placements in Tasmania, and Mount Isa and the Gulf. He moved to the Sunshine Coast in early 2020 to begin his career as a dentist where he has worked both in the private sector, and with Queensland Oral Health Services.

Education is something that Brayden holds in high regard and enjoys researching root canal treatments and injection moulding with composite fillings. Brayden also enjoys learning pediatric dentistry and believes that everyone should have a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the dentist. His favourite compliment is when people have a snooze in the chair!

Brayden moved to the Bow Valley to continue to grow his knowledge and skill base to become a well-rounded clinician and looks to grow from the wealth of knowledge that the other clinicians bring to the practice. His passion is maintaining teeth through life and enjoys restoring broken teeth back to something functional and appealing to the eye.

When not in the clinic you can only find Brayden in the mountains. He is a keen outdoorsman and with his dog Olive, enjoys both mountain biking and trail running. Brayden looks forward to meeting you and providing you with a calm and comfortable dental experience.
